Signet is held on different days depending on grade level. Sixth grade is held on Mondays, seventh grade is held on Tuesdays, and eighth grade is held on Wednesdays. On their scheduled SIGNET day, Godwin students come to the SIGNET room, B-9. One week, students attend for three periods, and the next week they attend for two periods. Students receive a schedule for the dates and times when they begin the school year.
MORNING SESSIONS
Study Centers - These are self-paced, individual centers. Students review what they have accomplished, read the teacher's comments and continue to work on the activities included in their contracts.
Small Group Classes - Classes are made up of ten to twenty students and usually involve more teacher directed activities.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS
Study Centers - Students continue their individual work and discuss it with their teacher. They make plans for the next class at the end of the session
