SIGNET Student Expectations!!!

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to take full advantage of the program, students need to:
1. Bring pencils, pens, and loose-leaf paper
2. Select, plan, and evaluate their studies
3. Complete four classes and several centers a year and complete the level of any study center they choose to begin. Their products should demonstrate depth, quality of thought, and development of thinking skills.
4. Make good use of their time and refrain from interrupting others.

ATTENDANCE AT SIGNET

At the beginning of the year, parents are asked to sign program permission and media release forms. After this permission is received, it is expected that the students will attend SIGNET each scheduled day. If the student is going to be absent, the parent should write a note or call the school.

MAKE-UP WORK FROM THE CLASSROOM

Although SIGNET is part of each student's regular schedule, middle school students will need to complete assigned make-up work. Students should make necessary arrangements with the classroom teachers to recieve assignments.
