Sixth grade gifted education students will be attending
the National Air and Space museum March 10, 2008 in Washington D.C.
This will give students a great opportunity to tour the museum to see some
of latest exhibits featured, learning labs, demonstrations, shows and
stimulators.
We are really
excited about our open house scheduled for
April 10, 2008
here at Godwin Middle
from
7:00
to
8:00 P.M.
My students and I have prepared a wonderful and exciting agenda for
this affair and look forward to presenting student’s work folders,
PowerPoint projects and independent studies. As we press
forward, April is our month to invite guest speakers to share their
expertise as it would relate to some of our independent centers.
We are very fortunate to have had some our own teachers to
participate as well. While our
eighth graders prepare for SOL’s and high school, I will schedule a time
in May when the High School Gifted Education teachers can visit Godwin to
speak to SIGNET eighth graders
about the high school gifted education program.
