IB Fast Fact:
The International Baccalaureate is an organization, not a company. It is "not -for-profit" so any surplus that is made is reinvested in the organization. Jeffrey Beard is the director general.   A council of 17 members, who volunteer their time and services, make up the governing board. IB is a Swiss Foundation registered in 1968.
