Welcome parents, teachers and students. This is the third edition of the IBMYP newsletter for Godwin for the 2007/08 school year. We hope you find the newsletter informative and useful. Special Points of Interest

  • Parents needed to coordinate grade level service projects
  • Information Night for parents and students interested in applying to the MYP program for  next year.  - January 16 at 7pm in the Godwin MS lecture hall.
  • Applications for students new to the IB program are due Feb. 15




Community & Service Opportunities

  • Bread and Fishes Program - provides food and clothes to DTQ area. Need helpers in food pantry and organizing food for distribution. Contact Christinecahow@verizon.net
  • Godwin Clean up Days--coming this spring
  • Work with a Teacher after school--Contact individual teachers in advance
  • Join a club or try out for a team. It's not too late.
  • Volunteer  in your neighborhood--Help a neighbor or organize a clean up.
  • Money Makers Branch--Belvoir Credit Union--needs 3 eighth grade students to work C lunch shifts. Contact: Mrs. Hawkins Rm C-5.
