National Junior Honor Society

National Junior Honor Society:   NJHS membership is an honor bestowed upon a student. NJHS is an honorary organization made up of 8th graders who are selected for membership in the Spring semester of 7th grade.    To be eligible for membership the candidate must be a member of the 7th or 8th grade and have been in attendance at Godwin Middle School for the equivalent of one semester. The student must also have a QPA of 3.5 or higher to be nominated. Selection for membership is by a faculty council majority vote and selection is based on outstanding scholarship, citizenship, character, leadership, and service. Members do service projects for Godwin and the Dale City community throughout the year.
