Coach Ford attended California State College in western Pennsylvania .  After moving to this area with her family, Coach Ford played many years of both fast and slow pitch softball.  A stay-at-home mom while her four children were young, Coach Ford performed volunteer work at Dale City Elementary.  In 1995 Coach Ford was hired as a special education teaching assistant at Godwin.  She held the position of assistant softball coach for three years before taking over as head coach in 1999.  For three years, she also coached volleyball at the high school level and is currently enjoying assisting Coach Jarrell.  Coach Ford has attended various clinics in order to increase her knowledge of the skills needed as a player and as a coach.  Coach Ford’s most important mission is to instill a life-long love of the game while preparing her players for the next level of ball.
